Avebury, least appreciated
It has been my contention, that the complex is least appreciated among Britains many megalithic monuments, from Windmill Hill to the West Kennet Long Barrow, has much more information to be gleaned than that at Stonehenge. Everything about this area is enthralling, to walk this entire complex, is to understand much more about it's impact on the ancients who lived here and built these monuments, as well as modern humans who seek to connect to it's mysteries.
